PASSPORT: Required. (Israeli entry or exit stamps in passport will prohibit entry.)
VISA: Required. Visitors may apply for a 72 hour or seven day visa at the airport upon arrival. Visitors can apply for visa extensions after entry.
HEALTH & IMMUNIZATION: Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificates are required for travelers arriving from infected areas. The U.S. Public Health Service advises that malaria risk exists throughout the country.

AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. All private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft overflying or landing for noncommercial purposes need not obtain prior permission; however, a flight plan must be on file at least 2 hours prior to arrival.
2. All private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft landing for commercial purposes must obtain prior permission from the Assistant Under Secretary of Civil Aviation, P.O. Box 586, Bahrain (TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS:
AIR CIVIL BAHRAIN/TELEX: 9186 AIRCIV BN) at least 2 working days prior to arrival and departure. Requests must include:
a. Name of operator;
b. Type of aircraft and registration marks;
c. Dates and times of arrival, stopovers and departure;
d. Place(s) of embarkation and disembarkation of passengers and cargo abroad;
e. Purpose of flight, number of passengers and type and amount of cargo;
f. Name, address and business of charterer, if any; and
g. Nationality of passengers. Authorizations issued to private and corporate aircraft do not constitute approval to operate for revenue purposes, and passengers carried by corporate aircraft shall be limited to staff of the company.
CORPORATE AIRCRAFT CONSTRAINTS
No internal constraints reported, but flights to/from Israel and South Africa prohibited.
SPECIAL NOTICES
Overflying Bahrain Island is prohibited.
