AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. Private and nonscheduled commercial flights overflying or landing for noncommercial purposes need not obtain prior permission; however, a flight plan must be on file.
2. Nonscheduled commercial passenger and cargo flights landing for commercial purposes are subject to special regulations. Prior permission must be obtained from the Director General of Civil Aviation Administration (CAA), Communication Center North, 4th Floor, Rue du Progres 80-B5-, 1030 Brussels, Belgium (TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: CIVILAIR BRUSSELS/ TELEX: BRUSSELS 22715/FAX: 32-2-203-15-28) at least 72 hours prior to departure. Applications for non-scheduled cargo flights must reach the CAA at least 5 working days before the proposed date of operation (if carrying nonrestricted cargo) or at least 10 working days (if carrying restricted cargo).
3. All requests submitted must include, as applicable:
a. Name and commercial address of the aircraft operator;
b. Type, registration mark, nationality, call-sign and seating capacity of the aircraft;
c. Complete route of flight, dates and times of arrival and departure and the final destination of the aircraft;
d. Purpose of flight;
e. Name and address of charterer, consignor and consignee;
f. Number of passengers and ticket cost per passenger or detailed description
(quantity, volume and dimensions) of cargo;
g. Evidence of insurance covering the passengers and third parties on the ground;
h. Copy of the chartering contract;
i. Copy of the advertising material announcing the flights; and
h. For the transportation of goods subject to special regulation (i.e., explosives) include a copy of the official authorization.
