PERSONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
PASSPORT: Not required for U.S. citizens holding proof of citizenship such as a birth certificate, expired passport (if photograph still clearly resembles the bearer), U.S. naturalization certificate or a signed U.S. voter registration card. Aliens who are permanent U.S. residents must have their U.S. alien registration card to return to the U.S. A Drivers license will not suffice as identification.
VISA: Not required if traveling as a tourist and intending to stay less than 6 months.
HEALTH & IMMUNIZATION: None required.
OTHER: The Bermuda Government manages the civilian airport terminal and provides the customs, health inspection, immigration and agriculture quarantine services.

AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. Bermuda International Airport is now a civilian airport, and prior permission is not required for nonmilitary aircraft to overfly or land in Bermuda. It is however necessary to obtain permission from the Department of Airport Operations (DAO) if Air Terminal Building facilities are required at: The Department of Airport Operations, Bermuda International Airport, 3 Cahow Way, St. George's, GECX, Bermuda. FAX: (441) 293-4504. In addition to arrival and departure times, the following information is required:
a. Aircraft registration;
b. Aircraft type;
c. Maximum gross takeoff weight;
d. Company address, telephone and fax numbers, and name of contact person; and
e. Description and amount of dangerous goods, if carried.
2. All aircraft operators require a local ground handler. The agencies available for this are: (1) Mid Atlantic Aviation; Telephone: (441) 293-4622; Fax: (441) 293-2622; and (2) Aircraft Services Bermuda; Telephone; (441) 293-1333; Fax: (441) 293-8529.
3. Non-scheduled flights landing for commercial purposes must obtain a permit from the Director of Civil Aviation to operate in or out of Bermuda. Application should be made using Form X, obtainable from the: Director of Civil Aviation; Bermuda International Airport, 3 Cahow Way, St. George's, GECX, Bermuda;

4. Nonscheduled commercial flights landing for commercial purposes must notify the Airport General Manager as far in advance as possible and obtain operating time approval because of limited parking facilities on Apron 1. The General Manager may authorize alternate times in order to ensure coordination of aircraft parking positions and uncongested passenger terminal flows.
5. Nonscheduled commercial and noncommercial aircraft must obtain prior permission to overfly only in the case of aircraft registered in non-contracting states of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). No prior permission is required for aircraft registered in ICAO contracting states.
6. Landing fees are payable by all aircraft, including military, except those involved in search and rescue missions.
