AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. All flights within the airspace of the Czech Republic including landings and departures to/from the territory of the Czech Republic shall be carried out in accordance withe the rules and regulations of the Czech Republic.
2. Aircraft landing in, or departing from the Czech Republic territory to/from abroad have to make their initial landing or final take-off at an airport with permanent customs and passport services during their operational hours or at an airport where customs and passport services are provided on prior request.
3. Exemption from this provision may be granted by the Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The application for an exemption shall be submitted not later than 7 working days before the date of the intended flight to: Ministry of Transport and Communications, Federal Civil Aviation Administration, Nabrezi Ludvika Svobody 12, P.O. 4. In the event of an emergency landing, the aircraft may leave, on application of the operator, the territory of the Czech Republic immediately after the landing, provided that it is airworthy and the regulations of the Czech Republic concerning crossing of the State boundaries were adhered to.

6. All Czech Republic and foreign aircraft that are not state aircraft must have a prescribed liability insurance coverage with respect to damage to passengers, their baggage and to cargo, and damage to third parties.
7. The aircraft operator must provide the airport operator and the handling agent with data required for purposes of air traffic statistics and billing for services rendered
8. Prague/Ruzyne Airport is a coordinated airport. Therefore, it is necessary for an air carrier to to have slots allocated by a coordinator for landing/take-off (except for extremely urgent cases).

NONSCHEDULED FLIGHT
1. Applications must be submitted at least 14 days prior to departure (not including weekends and holidays.) For a series of more than 3 flights, permission must be obtained prior to January 15 for flights occurring between April 1 and October 31, and prior to September 1 for flights occurring between November 1 and March 31. All requests must include provision for prepaid reply and the following information:
a. Name and address of operator;
b. Type of aircraft and seating capacity;
c. Date, estimated time of departure and airport of departure;
d. Estimated time and airport of landing;
e. Purpose of flight, number of passengers and/or nature and quantity of cargo transported to/from the Czech Republic;
f. Name and address of charterer;
g. Price of charter; and
h. Consignee/consignor of cargo in Czech Republic, if applicable. If the flight is organized in conjunction with inclusive tours, the application shall also include details of the schedule and individual selling price of the tickets. Also, if a carrier has not previously operated in Czech Republic airspace, he must attach a copy of his insurance policy for aircraft operations.
2. For airport commercial handling and other services, contact Czech Republic Airlines Prague, (TELEX: 121223 or AFTN: LKPROKOC).
3. Prior permission is not required for nonscheduled commercial aircraft (overflying or landing for noncommercial purposes) or private aircraft (with maximum take-off weight of 12,500 lbs. and carrying no more than 6 passengers) overflying or landing for commercial or noncommercial purposes.
4. All nonscheduled commercial aircraft and private aircraft (carrying more than six passengers) overflying or landing for commercial or noncommercial purposes must provide at least 24 hours advance notice to the Air Navigation Service, Czech Republic ATC via AFTN: LKPRZD or via TELEX to AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL PRAGUE/TELEX: 120350. Private aircraft (carrying no more than 6 passengers) must provide at least 72 hours advance notice before intended entry of aircraft into the Czech Republic airspace to the Czech Republic ATC.
5. Advance notification is not to include weekends and holidays and is to be computed on time of entry into CSSR airspace. Neither confirmation nor clearance message will be returned in answer to the advance notification unless special limitations are placed on the clearance. Advance notification must include:
a. Name and address of operator;
b. Type, nationality and registration number of aircraft;
c. Date and estimated time of departure;
d. Airport of departure;
e. The proposed route, points and times of entry and exit from Czech Republic airspace;
f. Airport of destination;
g. Estimated time of arrival or estimated elapsed time; and
h. Name of pilot-in-command. Private flights (with maximum capacity of 6 passengers) landing in Czech Republic shall also include the following information in their advance notification:
(1) Names, addresses and passport numbers of passengers; and
(2) Purpose of flight and name of organization or person in Czech Republic informed about the flight.
CORPORATE AIRCRAFT CONSTRAINTS
Flights from Israel, South Africa, and Chile likely to be prohibited from overflight and landing.
SPECIAL NOTICES
Any person subject to the jurisdiction of the United States or any corporation, partnership, organization or association considering the operation of an aircraft into Czech Republic must review current Department of Commerce and Department of State regulations providing guidance relating to trade and other transactions involving Czech Republic.
