AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. All private aircraft overflying or landing must obtain prior permission and confirmation of approval from the Civil Aviation Administration, P.O. Box 8, Ben Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv, Israel (TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: MEMTEUFA BEN GURION AIRPORT/TELEX: 381000) at least 72 to 96 hours prior to departure.
2. All nonscheduled commercial aircraft overflying or landing for noncommercial purposes, must obtain prior permission from the Civil Aviation Administration at least 48 hours prior to departure (30 days if landing for commercial purposes). All requests must include, as applicable:
a. Aircraft make and model;
b. Aircraft nationality and registration marks;
c. Purpose of flight (choose from the definitions);
d. Aerodrome(s) of departure and intermediate landing(s) en route;
e. Full names, nationalities and passport numbers of the crew;
f. Full names, nationalities and passport numbers of all the passengers on board;
g. Airport(s) on intended landings(s) in Israel;
h. Date and ETA at the first airport of entry in Israel;
i. Date and ETD from the last Israeli airport of departure detailing the routing and first destination airport abroad;
j. Name of handling agency at the airport of entry (applicable at the airports of Eilat, Ovda and Tel-Aviv/Ben-Gurion only); and
k. Name and telephone number of business or private contact in Israel who is able to verify the passenger's identify.

SPECIAL NOTICES
1. Flying outside approved routes is not permitted except by prearrangement.
2. Private overflights may be required to land at an airport of entry.
3. All VFR flights in Israel shall be operated as controlled VFR flights (CVFR).
4. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Passengers embarking on domestic flights, either commercial air-transport or general aviation, are required to be in possession of either an identification card in case of Israeli nationals or a valid passport in case of foreign nationals. Such passengers may be required to present identification documents to security personnel at all Israeli aerodromes.
