PERSONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

PASSPORT: Required

VISA: All visitors are issued a 30 day visa on arrival at the Male' International Airport.

HEALTH & IMMUNIZATION: Cholera Vaccination Certificates are required for all travelers arriving from a country, any part of which is infected. Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificates are required for travelers arriving from infected areas. The U.S. Public Health Service reports that a malaria threat exists throughout the country.

AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. All aircraft overflying or landing must have a flight plan on file and must obtain prior permission from the Director of Civil Aviation at the following address at least 72 hours in advance of entering Maldives Air-space or intended landing. 2. All requests must include:

a. Name and full address of aircraft operating agency;

b. Aircraft type;

c. Aircraft nationality and registration mark;

d. Aircraft call sign;

e. Name and nationality of Commander;

f. Number and nationality of crew and passengers;

g. General description of goods carried, if any;

h. Purpose of flight; and

i. Schedule, route, date, time of operation.
