OTHER: Tourists can obtain a 330 day extension of the initial 30 day stay granted upon arrival by applying to immigration authorities in Kolonia. Must have proof of U.S. citizenship (Passport, Birth Certificate, or other documentation). Write to Chief of Labor and Immigration, FSM Government, Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia 96941, for information on non-tourist (business) visa requirements, or consult the FSM Embassy in Washington, DC; or FSM Liaison Consul General in Hawaii and Guam.

AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. All private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft overflying or landing for noncommercial purposes must obtain prior permission from the Division of Civil Aviation, Department of Transportation, Communications and Infrastructure, P.O. Box PS-2, Palikir, Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia 96941. TELEX: UNIV AVIA 1794388 FMGOV. FAX: (691) 320-5853 AFTNFAYX at least 7 days prior to departure.

2. All requests must include:

a. Name and address of aircraft operator and chartering organization, if any;

b. Aircraft type and registration marks;

c. Dates, times and airports of arrival and departure;

d. Complete route of flight;

e. Number of crew and names; and

f. Number of passengers, and type and amount of cargo.
