AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. Operators of aircraft registered to ICAO member states desiring to overfly or land for noncommercial purposes must give advance notice. An international flight plan will be adequate notice provided entry is at a designated Customs airport.
2. All nonscheduled commercial flights to, from or in transit through New Zealand must obtain prior permission from the Secretary for Transport, P.O. Box 3175, Wellington, New Zealand, ATTN: Manager Air Service, (TELEPHONE: 64-4-472-1253, FAX: 64-4-498-0678). Application should be made at least 3 working days before a single flight and 30 days before a series of flights.
3. All requests must include:
a. Name and address of operator and New Zealand agent;
b. Type, and registration markings of aircraft;
c. Name and qualifications of flight captain;
d. Purpose of flights;
e. Number of flights and routings;
f. Aerodromes in New Zealand to be used;
g. Dates and times of arrival and departure;
h. Estimated landing and take-off weights at New Zealand aerodromes;
j. Number, origin and destination of passengers, nature, origin and destination of cargo, proposed fares, charter rate and cargo rates;
k. Name and address of charterer, if any, and New Zealand agent; and
l. Certification of adequate third party insurance.

SPECIAL NOTICES
Military and state aircraft may not enter or overfly New Zealand without prior permission. Application for permission should be made through diplomatic channels at least 14 days prior to arrival.
