HEALTH & IMMUNIZATION: Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificates are required for all travelers arriving from infected areas. The U.S. Public Health Service reports that a malaria risk, including chloroquine resistant

P. Falciparum, exists in all parts of the country below 400 meters.

OTHER: Traveler must show means of return transportation and sufficient funds to pay expenses during stay to be admitted.

AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. All private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft overflying or landing for noncommercial purposes, must obtain prior permission. Flight plans must be filed at least 48 hours before entry into Solomon Island airspace.

2. All nonscheduled commercial aircraft landing for commercial purposes must obtain prior permission from the Civil Aviation Branch, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Government Utilities P.O. Box G8, Honiara, Solomon Islands (TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: CIVILAIR HONIARA/TELEX: HQ 66310 Attn: C.A.A.) at least 14 days prior to departure.

3. All request must include:

a. Name and address of applicant;

b. Name and nationality of pilot;

c. Number and composition of crew;

d. Complete route of flight;

e. Name and address of charterer;

f. Purpose of flight;

g. Number of passengers and type and amount of cargo; and

h. Registration marks and type of aircraft.
