Aviation Safety
Inspector
Aviation Safety Inspectors develop, administer, and enforce regulations
and standards concerning civil aviation safety. They monitor the airworthiness
of aircraft and aircraft systems; the competence of pilots, mechanics,
and other aviation personnel; and the safety aspects of aviation facilities,
equipment, and procedures. Aviation safety inspectors must be knowledgeable
about the operation, maintenance, and manufacture of aircraft and aircraft
systems.
