Foreword

1. PURPOSE.

This advisory circular (AC) provides guidance to assist operators in planning, designing, and constructing seaplane base facilities.

2. APPLICATION.

Establishment or modification of a seaplane base requires advance notification to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). In support of such establishment or modification, FAA recommends the design embody the guidance in this advisory circular
