AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. Private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft overflying or landing for noncommercial purposes need not obtain prior permission; however, advance notification must be submitted at least 7 days prior to departure to the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation B.P. 838 Bangui, Central African Republic (TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: MINITRANS BANGUI/TELEX: ASECNA 5209 RC). Requests may be submitted in either English or French and must include:

a. Type of aircraft and registration marks;

b. Aircraft radio call;

c. Name and address of aircraft owner;

d. Name and address of aircraft operator;

e. Purpose of flight;

f. Number of passengers and type and amount of cargo;

g. Dates and times of arrival and departure and airports to be used; and

h. Route of flight including date and times of entry and exit of Central African Republic airspace.

2. Nonscheduled commercial aircraft landing for commercial purposes must submit the same information as above at least 72 hours prior to departure for flight approval.

CORPORATE AIRCRAFT CONSTRAINTS

None reported. Government reserves the right to restrict flights to/from countries when such action serves its interest.
