PERSONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

PASSPORT: Required

VISA: Required except bona fide visitors whose stay will not exceed 31 days and whose sole purpose is holiday or recreation. Passengers shall be in possession of a confirmed return booking.

HEALTH & IMMUNIZATION: Proof of vaccination against smallpox except persons arriving from

American Samoa, Australia, British Solomon Islands, Canada, Fiji, French Polynesia, Hawaii, Kiribati, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Norfolk Island, Tokelau Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, U.S.A., Vanuatu, and Western Samoa provided they have not been outside these areas for at least 14 days prior to arrival and these areas are free from smallpox.

AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft overflying or landing must apply to Director, Department of Civil Aviation, P.O. Box 329, Avarua, Rarotonga, Cook Islands (TELEX: NCRGYA 62052/TELEPHONE: (682) 28-817/AFTN NCRGYAYX, NCRGYDYX) at least 14 working days prior. All notifications must include all details pertinent to the flight. Aircraft landing in or departing from the Cook Islands must land at or depart from Rarotonga International Airport and only during hours of service of ATC and air-ground services except by prior permission.

CORPORATE AIRCRAFT CONSTRAINTS

Cabotage not permitted for residents or nonresidents.
