AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. All private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft overflying or landing for noncommercial purposes must obtain prior approval from the Seoul Regional Aviation Office in Kimpo Airport (TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: CIVILAIR SEOUL/AFTN: RKSSZPZX). Applications must be submitted 3 days in advance.

2. All requests must include:

a. Name, address and nationality of operator;

b. Nationality, type, registration marks and call-sign of aircraft;

c. Route of flight (including port of entry) and time and date of flight;

d. Purpose of flight;

e. Name of pilot-in-command and flight crew and their qualifications;

f. Name, nationality and purpose of the passenger; and

g. Cargo manifest, if any.

3. All nonscheduled commercial (charter) aircraft operating for commercial purposes must obtain prior approval from the Civil Aviation Bureau, Ministry of Construction and Transportation, Seoul (AFTN: RKDLYAYX). Applications must be submitted at least 10 days in advance of the intended date of landing.

4. All requests must include:

a. Name, address and nationality of operator;

b. Type of aircraft, registration marks and call-sign;

c. Date and time of arrival and departure from airports concerned;

d. Places of embarkation/disembarkation of passengers and/or cargo;

e. Purpose of flight and number of passengers and/or nature and amount of cargo;

f. Name, address and business of charterer, if any;

g. Charter price; and

h. Name and address of the designated office or agent in Korea.
