AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. All private aircraft overflying or landing and all aircraft performing nonscheduled commercial aircraft overflying or landing for technical stopovers require advance notification of the Polish Air Traffic Agency,

Box 3, Poland (TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: PPL PL/TELEX: 813553/AFTN: EPWWZGZX, FAX: (48) 22 650 1190) at least 48 hours prior to the date of the planned departure, and not later than 1000 UTC on the day preceding the intended flight. A technical stopover is understood from the point of view of air traffic requirements to be a noncommercial landing. When the notification of a flight is submitted less than 48 hours prior to the date of the intended departure of an aircraft, the reason for the delay of notification should be given.

2. All aircraft performing nonscheduled commercial flight, landing for commercial purposes require prior permission from both the Department of Civil Aviation, 4/6 Chalubinskiego St., 00-928 Warsaw, Poland(AFTN: EPWWYAYX, SITA: WAWGILO, fax: (48) 22 629 6378) and Polish Air Traffic Agency, Al. Zwirki i Wigury 1, 00-906 Warsaw 19, P.O. Box 3, Poland (TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: PPL/PL, TELEX: 813553, AFTN: EPWWZGZX, FAX: (48) 22 650 1190) at least 3 work days for single flight and at least 7 work days for more than two flights prior to intended arrival. For flights coordinated by the diplomatic channel(s) application should be submitted for at least 10 days prior departure. Flight with commercial stopovers are understood to be international flights that entail unloading and loading of passengers, luggage, cargo or mail for a fee. Flight plans must be filed directly with the "Polish Airports" State Enterprise, Okecie Airport, Warsaw (TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS; PPL/PL, TELEX: 813553, AFTN: EPWAYDYX and EPWWZGZX, FAX: (48) 22 650 1190).

3. All notification must include:

a. Name and address of air carrier;

b. Type of aircraft, registration marks and flight number (call sign);

c. Route of the flight;

d. Date and planned time of arrival to Polish airport and time of departure from that airport;

e. Place of embarkation/disembarkation of passenger and/or freight in Polish and foreign airport;

f. The purpose and character of flight (additional flight to regular air service, charter or other type of commercial flight), number of passengers, nature and amount of freight;

g. The level of transport price and unit price;

h. In case of transportation paid in Poland - name of the unit (agency) issuing transport documents; and

i. In case of charter - the name and address of charterer, the type of charter (group charter, public charter, inclusive tour charter, private charter) the copy of charter agreement and the indication of the applicable rules of organizing the charter.
