HEALTH & IMMUNIZATION: Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificates are required for travelers arriving from infected areas.

OTHER: Visa applications should be made in writing at least 1 month prior to departure and must include proof of accommodation and proof of financial maintenance and means of departure from Samoa.

AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. All private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft overflying need not obtain prior approval.

2. All private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft landing for commercial or noncommercial purposes must obtain prior permission from the Airport Manager, Faleolo International Airport, Apia, Samoa (TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: MALO APIA/TELEX: NONE) at least 7 days prior to departure. Requests must include all information pertinent to the flight.

3. All nonscheduled commercial aircraft landing for commercial purposes should contact the Civil Aviation Division, Ministry of Transport, Private Bag, Wellington 1, New Zealand (TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: CIVILAIR WELLINGTON/TELEX: NONE) prior to departure to insure that all regulations governing commercial activity in Samoa can be complied with.
