AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. Private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft overflying or landing for noncommercial purposes need not obtain prior approval; however, a flight plan must be in file.
2. Nonscheduled commercial aircraft landing for commercial purposes (including air travel club flights) must obtain prior permission from the Seccion de Aviacion comercial, Direccion General de Aviacion civil, Ministerio de Fomento, Paseo de la Castellana n5 67, 28071 Madrid, Spain (TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: CIVILAIR MADRID/TELEX: 27702 CIAIR E) at least 48 hours prior to departure.
3. All requests must include:
a. Name of aircraft operator;
b. Aircraft type and registration marks;
c. Complete route of flight including dates and times and airports of first arrival, stopovers and final departure;
d. Places of embarkation/ disembarkation of passengers and cargo;
e. Purpose of flight;
f. Number of passengers and type and amount of cargo; and
g. Name and address of aircraft owner or charterer.

SPECIAL NOTICES
1. All civilian aircraft overflying or landing in Spain, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, and Spanish Africa must carry documentary proof of current third party liability insurance.
2. Aircraft landing in the Canary Islands and then continuing on to airports in Spain or the Balearic Islands must land at a designated international airport in those places.
