AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. All private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft overflying or landing for noncommercial purposes need not obtain prior approval; however, a flight plan must be on file to provide prior notification to Surinamese air traffic control officials.

2. Nonscheduled commercial aircraft landing for commercial purposes must obtain prior permission from the Director of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transport, Trade and Industry, P.O. Box 1981, Paramaribo, Suriname (TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: CIVILAIR PARAMARIBO/TELEX: 148SN) prior to departure.

3. All requests must include:

a. Name, nationality and business address of operator;

b. Type of aircraft, nationality and registration marks;

c. Name of aircraft owner;

d. Date and time of arrival and departure;

e. Route of flight; and

f. Purpose of flight.

CORPORATE AIRCRAFT CONSTRAINTS

Foreign Corporate Aircraft must have approval of Director of Civil Aviation to land and depart inside Suriname.

SPECIAL NOTICES

Military authorities and Ministry of Agriculture may require ad hoc inspections of flights within Suriname.
