PERSONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

VISA: Required

HEALTH & IMMUNIZATION: Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificates are required for travelers arriving from infected areas.

OTHER: Proof of sufficient funds for maintenance during stay in Tuvalu, and an onward ticket to a country into which the visitor has right of entry. With consent of the Principal Immigration Officer, a cash bond may be laid down on arrival, in lieu of an onward ticket.

AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. All private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft landing for commercial purposes must obtain prior permission from the Secretary, Ministry of Labour, Works, and Communications, Private Mail Bag, Funafuti, Tuvalu

(FAX: 688 20-722/TELEX; TV18017) far enough in advance of flight to insure a response prior to departure.

2. All requests must include:

a. Name and address of applicant

b. Type of aircraft and registration marks;

c. Date and time of arrival at and departure from Tuvalu;

d. Places of embarkation or disembarkation of passengers and cargo;

e. Number of passengers and type and amount of cargo;

f. Purpose of flight; and

g. Name and address and business of charterer, if any.

CORPORATE AIRCRAFT CONSTRAINTS

None reported

SPECIAL NOTICES

Commanders of aircraft are advised to make early notification of flight to permit radio navigation aids to be in operation for the proposed flight.
