PERSONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

HEALTH & IMMUNIZATION: Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificates are required for travelers arriving from any infected country. Malaria risk (including chloroquine resistant P. Falciparum) exists throughout the country

below 1800 meters.

OTHER: All visitors are required to convert $150.00 U.S. Dollars to local currency (Ugandan Shillings) upon entry and may be required to prove that they have spent or converted $30.00 U.S. Dollars per day in Uganda. Airport departure tax for international passengers is $20.00 U.S. Dollars.

AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. All private and nonscheduled commercial aircraft overflying or landing for commercial or noncommercial purposes must obtain prior permission from the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transport and Communications, P.O. Box 7087, Kampala, Uganda(TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: TRANSCOM KAMPALA/TELEX: 62006, at Entebbe Airport TELEX: 61460/TELEPHONE: (041 21173 or 21016) at least 72 hours prior to departure.

2. All requests must include:

a. Name and address of aircraft operator;

b. Type of aircraft and registration marks;

c. Name of pilot and number of crew;

d. Number of passengers and type and amount of cargo;

e. Purpose of flight; and

f. Complete route of flight, including dates, times and points of entry into and exit from Ugandan airspace and time of landing, if landing.

CORPORATE AIRCRAFT CONSTRAINTS

Internal flight from Entebbe to other airfields in Uganda require special clearance.

SPECIAL NOTICES

All flights or passengers who carry documents indicating travel in South Africa may be refused entry.
