AIRCRAFT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. Enterprises, organizations, and other juridical or physical persons, which are interested in using the airspace should submit a request for airspace use to the Ukrainian Department of Civil Aviation (Flight Scheduling Coordinator Office, Department of Civil Aviation, Prospect Peremogy 14, 252135 Kiev, Ukraine.)

2. Aircraft landing in or departing from Ukraine must first land or finally depart from an aerodrome where customs facilities are provided (Borispol, Lvov, Odessa, Simferopol, Krivoy, and Rog). The carrier must take on board a navigator for flights to other national airports from airports of entry.

3. Nonscheduled Flights- A request for a nonscheduled flight (traffic or nontraffic including charter) which crosses the borders of the Ukraine Republic - not later then 5 working days prior to beginning of flight.

4. Private Flights- A request for operating a general aviation flight - not later than 3 working days prior to beginning of flight

5. Military Flights- A request for a military flight must be made through diplomatic channels. Diplomatic clearance number must include on the flight plan not later than 10 working days prior to beginning of flight.

6. Request must include:

a. State of registration;

b. Company name and address;

c. Owner/operator of aircraft;

d. Type of aircraft, call sign and registration marks;

e. Airport of departure;

f. Date, time (UTC), entry point into Ukrainian airspace;

g. Estimated time of arrival (UTC) and landing airport;

h. Route of flight within Ukrainian territory;

i. Estimated time (UTC) of departure and airport of departure from Ukraine;

j. Date, time (UTC), and exit point from airspace of Ukraine;

k. Route and destination airport;

l. Purpose of flight, number of passengers and cargo; and

m. Form of payment for handling.

7. If request for carrying out activities are cancelled, the operator or person who submitted the request should inform the Ukrainian Department of Civil Aviation (Flight Scheduling Coordinator) immediately.
