Cessna Re-Enters The Two Seater Market With The 150

October 1958, after discontinuing with the production of the Cessna 140 in 1950, Cessna has decided to return into the two seater market. Unveiling  the the 150 at a standard price per plane of $6,995 which will include as standard equipment a metal fixed pitch Senseich propeller, starter at 20 amps, generator, altimeter, navigational lights, recording tachometer, oil  temperature and oil pressure gages, fuel gages, car heater, stall warning bell indicator, airspeed indicator, toe, and hand hand break.

The trainer with start of at $7,940. and their intercity commuter will start of at $8, 545. The aircraft will be powered by a 100 horse power engine. Cruise speed will be about 120 mph with a range of 520 miles or 4.3 hours of fuel. It will have a ceiling of about 14,000 feet. It will have a useful load of about 600 pounds.
