Brothers to the Rescue leader Looses His Pilots licenses.

February 24, 1996  The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has revoked Cuban rescue leader Jose Basulto's pilot licenses for flying into Cuban airspace. On February 24, 1996 three aircraft belonging to Brothers to the Rescue organization based out of Opa Locka Airport Miami, Florida had flown into Cuban airspace.

At which time the Cuban military shot down two of the three aircraft. The third aircraft which was flown by Basulto was not fired upon, Basulto was able to return back safely back at Opa Locka Airport. Basulto who is the president of Hermanos Al Rescate (Brothers to the Rescue) and other members had violated Cuban airspace in the past.     (A response from Cuba)
