The United States Drops The Atomic Bomb

On August 6, 1945 a B29 of the 393rd Bombardment Squad known as the Enola Gay Departs Tinian Military Airport at 2:45 am with a crew of 12. At 8:15 am the Enola Gay at 31,060 feet drops a five ton Atomic Bomb  "Little Boy", on Hiroshima, Japan. Upon dropping of the atomic, the bomb took a tremendous toll on the people of Hiroshima.

An unknown amount of victims were killed. Many reports indicate people were instantly vaporized and burned by the infra red heat waves. Reports are also indicating that those who survived the blast will die from radiation exposure to gamma rays.
