Husband Has Bomb Placed On Aircraft His Wife Was Flying As A Passenger To Collect Insurance Money

Albert Guay places a bomb on a Canadian Pacific Airlines DC-3 out of Quebec, Canada in order to collect on an insurance policy he had on his wife.  He, along with two accomplices were executed for the crime. Guay, a jewler, in a plot to kill his wife, a passenger on board had his girl friend air express the bomb on the aircraft. The girlfriends brother made the timing device that was used to blow-up the plane. The aircraft just 40 miles outside Quebec at 7000 feet blew up killing all 23 on board. Authorities caught up with the three and they were hanged. All for a $10,000 dollar policy.
