Boeing Employees Bid Farewell To Classic 737    

 

15-DEC-99, Throngs of Boeing employees gather to bid farewell to the last Boeing 737-400 as it prepares to roll out of the 737 final assembly building. The airplane is the last of the Boeing series of "Classic" 737s 300/ - -400 -500 to be produced.

The 737 family is the most successful jetliner program in commercial aviation history. Replacing the Classic 737 series is the Next-Generation 737 series, which is being produced in record numbers at the Boeing facility in Renton, Wash.
