Paris, France, November 16, 1906, Gabriel Voisin who had a partnership with Bleriot building box kite like floatplanes bought out his shares with Bleriot. Gabriel and his brother, Charles formed a new company building aircraft commercially.

This will be the first aircraft company in history to do so. Gabriel believes that he and his brother will be much more successful than he relationship with Bleriot. The Voisin-Bleriot built a floatplane, glider and a powered machine. However, they were not successful in achieving sustained flight.
