A Boeing 727 and a Cessna 172 Have A Mid
Air Crash
While on a visual approach for Runway 27, a Pacific Southwest Airline Boeing 727 collided with Cessna 172 at 2600ft. Both aircraft crashed into a residential area of San Diego. 137 passenger were killed. It was reported that the Pacific Southwest aircraft flight crew and the Cessna 172 did not comply with the provisions of maintaining visual separation. |
