JANUARY 29--Task Force 77 began a series of air attacks against rail and highway bridges along the east coast of northern Korea. When the force was assigned additionally the task of bombing highways and lines of communication in northeast Korea it had responsibilities for interdiction which occupied a major share of its attention until the end of the war.
