Paris, France, November 15, 1905, Gabriel Voison, a French aeronaut tests a box like glider, the hydroglider by towing it behind a motorboat. The hydroglider sustains flight for a few minutes and then crashes into the water. Voison was unhurt. He had conducted an earlier fight on July 18, in which he was able to climb 17 feet above the water. |
