• ALASKA NINETY NINES, INC: The Alaska Chapter 99’s Career Scholarships are available to Female Student Pilots and Female Pilots: $1000 Career Scholarship for a Female Pilot with at least a Private Pilot Certificate $300 Student Pilot Scholarship to a female student pilot with a solo endorsemen. • Alpha Eta Rho Scholarship. Five annual $500 scholarships to active members on the Alpha Eta Rho, Alpha Eta Rho, National Headquarters, 4627 Ocean Blvd., #220, San Diego, CA 92109.

• AOPA Air Safety Foundation McAllister Memorial Scholarships. Two annual $1,000 scholarships for college students pursuing aviation degrees. • Aviation Distributors and Manufacturers Association Scholarship. Two annual $750 awards, one to an aviation management major and one to a professional pilot major. ADMA Scholarship Program, 1900 Arch St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.

• C. Alfred Anderson Scholarship. $2,500 per academic year. Must attend Florida Memorial College. Metro Dade Aviation Department, Miami International Airport Miami, Florida.

• Experimental Aircraft Association/EAA Aviation Foundation. A variety of awards and scholarships ranging from $200, to full tuition, books and equipment to students seeking careers in aviation. • Illinois Pilot Association Scholarship. One annual $500 scholarship to students in an aviation degree program. IPS State Headquarters, 801 1/2 S. 4th St., Apt. A, Springfield, IL 62703.

• International Aviation Career Scholarship. Annual $1,200 scholarship awarded to a female pilot with a commercial license and at least 250 hours flight time and who is pursuing a career as an airline pilot. • Marion Barnick Memorial Scholarship. $1,000 scholarships to a female private pilot who is either a member of the Ninety Nines OR a student at San Jose State, Gavilian College, Foothill College or West Valley College in California. • Parks College of St. Louis University Cobro Maintenance Science Scholarships. Awards of up to $10,000, or 120 percent of a student's annual tuition and fees, up to a three-year minimum of $30,000. COBRO Maintenance Science Scholarship, Parks College of St. Louis University, Cahokia, IL 62203.

• Professional Aviation Maintenance Association Scholarship Fund. Annual scholarship to a student pursing an A&P license. PAMA Scholarship Committee, 500 NW Plaza, Suite 912, St. Ann, MO 63074.

• Soaring Society of America Youth Soaring Scholarship. $600 towards a sailplane flying lessons, and lesser prizes of textbooks and memberships. Young persons between ages 14 and 22 and not holders of any FAA pilot license. Application forms are available at gliderports only. • Southeastern Airport Managers Association Scholarship. Two annual awards up to $1,500 for students with a B.S. degree in an airport management or directly related curriculum. • SPORTY’S: Two $15,000 scholarships to full-time high school or college students. Applicants must be enrolled in a high school preparatory course or at an accredited college or university that awards two-year or four-year degrees. Applicants must be full-tie student and may be pursuing any course of study. • WOMEN IN AVIATION, INTERNATIONAL: Has received more than $200,000 from private companies for scholarships toward flight training, maintenance training and general areas such as leadership training.
