American.
Now, this pioneering pilot is opening

his action-packed flight, how aviation was his
"way out" of poverty, and how his journey
inspired him to teach kids about aviation.
"Sand Storms Are Just the Beginning -
Record-Breaking Pilot, Barrington Irving, on his
Action-Packed Flight Around the World"
During the interview with Irving, he opened
about his own journey from humble beginnings to
trailblazing aviator, and how aviation was his
"way out" of an impoverished childhood. How he
built his plane out of donated parts to
accomplish his journey around the world, 97
days, 27 stops, and 13 countries.
Barrington is a successful pilot, educator, and
mentor. He “believes in the potential of young
people,” and how math and science can lead to
great accomplishments for kids from failing
schools. Through his experience and wanting to
give-back, Irving established the non-profit
Experience Aviation in his hometown of Miami,
FL.
