The Philadelphia Branch of the National Association for the Advancement
of Colored People (Philadelphia NAACP) and US Airways announced they are
partnering to enhance the airline’s workplace diversity programs in
As part of this
partnership, US Airways will continue to demonstrate its strong
commitment to diversity and equal opportunity for all employees and will
enhance the airline’s workplace diversity programs in Philadelphia
International Airport (PHL) and Reagan Washington National Airport
(DCA).
The Philadelphia
NAACP and US Airways will collaborate at these airports to enhance the
airline’s diversity and equal opportunity programs, training, personnel,
policies, and procedures, will take joint efforts to promote diversity
and equal opportunity, and will maintain a direct dialogue concerning
these issues in the future. |

US Airways Vice
President of Human Resources Dan Pon said, “Our recent collaboration
with the Philadelphia Branch of the NAACP will strengthen our continued
and robust commitment to workplace diversity at these two important
airports. We have long held a zero tolerance for discrimination of any
kind and our partnership with the Philadelphia NAACP reflects that
promise.”
