October 25, 2010 – Dr. Hans Juergen “Hanno” Loss, vice president of quality management for Lufthansa Technik, was elected president of the Aeronautical Repair Station Association (ARSA) for 2011 at the association’s annual Board of Directors meeting. Loss steps into this role having previously served a one-year term as ARSA’s vice president. The ARSA Board also elected Gary Fortner, vice president of quality management at Fortner Engineering, and Gary Jordan, president and CEO of Jordan Propeller Service to serve respectively as ARSA’s 2011 vice president and treasurer. Loss succeeds Chris Erickson, director of safety and compliance at Erickson Air Crane, who served as ARSA’s 2010 president. |

executive leadership, ARSA announced its board of directors for
2010-2011. Joining Loss, Fortner, Jordan, and Erickson will be Basil
Barimo, vice president of global engineering & quality, NORDAM Interiors
& Structures; Ian Cheyne, vice president, Dallas Airmotive; Gary Hudnall,
director of maintenance, Jet Center Medford; David Latimer, vice
president of regulatory compliance, TIMCO Aviation Services; and Jim
Perdue, vice president and manager of sales, SONICO, Inc.
ARSA is an Alexandria, Virginia-based trade association that
represents aviation maintenance and manufacturing companies. The
association has a distinguished 25-year record of advocating for
repair stations and providing regulatory compliance assistance to
the industry and representing repair stations on Capitol Hill and in
the media.
